I wasn’t in class on Wednesday 5/22 due to family circumstances, but I attempted to use app inventor on my own. We were introduced to app inventor the Monday prior and although we quick introduction I still had a lot of trouble doing anything on app inventor. Despite my trouble with app inventor I struggled the most just getting to the actual application. I followed to into steps in the “getting started” link which had me download something leading to a 20 minute installation, my computer restarting, and me back at square one. At this point I’m already frustrated but little did I know the real frustration was yet to begin. I finally find out how access app inventor and try to create a random number generator or something like the magic 8 ball. I thought these would be simple projects as I do have a bit of experience coding, but that was not the case.
